Health and wellness coaching is about how to get clear on your goals and how to achieve them, be they physical, emotional, creative or spiritual. It might be to lose weight, to have more energy, to deal with anxiety or depression, to stop self-destructive behaviours, or just to have more joy in your life. All of these elements play a part in what is holistically termed wellness. Often we sabotage our own efforts to achieve our goals - we need someone to keep us accountable or we feel we have a block we can’t move past, and this is where coaching really shines.

What does wellness coaching involve?

The first step is to get clear on your vision and goals, then breaking them down into managable peices and developing a plan to achieve them. This usually involves creating a balanced timetable, along with accountability to keep you on track. The next part depends greatly on your goals and existing knowledge, but it may involve:

  • Nutrition: nutrient dense food, ancestral eating, why counting calories isn't the best strategy, low carb / ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting
  • Exercise science: hormonal response, exercise intensity & high intensity training (HIT), exercise frequency, fasted workouts
  • Meditation: the nature of mind, how meditation works, types of meditation (mindfulness, breath, mantra, guided)
  • Manifesting: how to get into the feeling state of your desired end-goal in order to bring it into reality
  • Counselling: understanding your emotions & triggers, working through blocks, relationships, anger management, the inner critic, managing your energy
  • Psychology / Psycho-education: Understanding blocks and self-sabotage, Jung (the shadow, archetypes, the anima/animus), shadow-work, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Parts-work and Process-work psychotherapy (currently studying)
  • Exploring the self: Journaling, dreamwork, creative expression
  • Spirituality: consciousness, energy work, trancework / shamanic journeying

Location

Sessions can be via zoom or in person at 55 Glen Rd, Ourimbah on the Central Coast.

Timeframe

It typically takes a month to implement good habits, and this is the minimum timeframe to start to see progress towards your goal. I recommend either a 6 or 12 week coaching package, depending on your goals, your experience and your blocks, or you can book in for a single session to see how I can help.

Coaching sessions: $120 for one and a half hours

6 week package: 6 coaching sessions with a discount of 10% off for $648

12 week package: 12 coaching sessions with a discount of 15% off for $1,224
