Holistic Counselling & Psychotherapy
PACFA-registered holistic counselling and process-oriented psychotherapy — for depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationships and spiritual emergence.
A whole-person approach
Holistic counselling looks at the whole person — mind, body and spirit — rather than a symptom in isolation. As a PACFA-registered counsellor trained in Counselling and Processwork Psychotherapy, Andrew works with what is present and follows it to its root.
What people come with
Depression, anxiety and stress, addiction, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, anger, the self-critical voice, and low self-esteem. Areas of particular focus include spiritual emergence and crisis, men’s counselling, sexuality and sexual abuse, existential crisis, and shadow work.
Frequently asked questions
What is holistic counselling, and how is it different from standard talk therapy?
Holistic counselling looks at the whole person — mind, body and spirit — rather than treating a symptom in isolation. As a PACFA-registered counsellor trained in Counselling and Processwork Psychotherapy, Andrew works with what is present in the room and follows it to its root, drawing on somatic and process-oriented approaches alongside conventional talk therapy.
What kinds of issues do people bring to sessions?
Depression, anxiety and stress, addiction, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, anger, the self-critical voice and low self-esteem are common. Andrew also has particular focus areas: spiritual emergence and crisis, men’s counselling, sexuality and sexual abuse, existential crisis, and shadow work.
Is this registered, recognised counselling, or is it more spiritual/alternative?
Both hold together here. Andrew is PACFA-registered (PACFA-CPC certified) in Counselling and Processwork Psychotherapy, so the clinical foundation is a recognised one — but the approach also makes room for spiritual and process-oriented material, rather than treating it as outside the scope of the work.
Can sessions be combined with energy healing?
Yes. A combined counselling and energy healing session (2 hours) is available for people who want talk therapy and Reiki/energy work held in the same session, rather than booked separately.
Is counselling available online?
Yes — sessions run in person or online over Zoom, so distance or a busy schedule doesn’t need to be a barrier to starting.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends entirely on what you’re bringing. Some people come for a handful of sessions around a specific issue; others use counselling as an ongoing, longer-term practice. This is discussed and reviewed with you as the work unfolds, not fixed in advance.
