Facilitating transformation to health and wellness

I have a holistic approach that uses multiple disciplines to address different aspects of health and wellness. Each one helps a person along their path, but when I put them together, I see them truly transform as they become happier and healthier people.

Wellness coaching

Each aspect brings it’s own benefits, though the different aspects interrelate so strongly that it’s hard to separate them, however that’s what I’ll endeavour to do:

The Physical (Holistic Personal Training)

This is the personal training I offer which involves strength training, nutrition, yoga and tai chi. The techniques and principles I’ve learnt from yoga and martial arts lead to much improved flexibility, posture and alignment, resulting in energy being able to flow freely through the body. They also allow me to teach functional movement patterns effectively and even diagnose and help fix many issues with pain or stiffness in joints and muscles. While resting between exercises we discuss nutrition, mindset & motivaion.

Maintaining the physical body is the first fundamental practice that underpins health and wellness. When the physical body is healthy, we have more energy, improved mood and better mental clarity and focus.

The Mental (Coaching)

This really comes into all aspects of the work I do. It involves awareness of mindset, personality, psychology, motivation, and how to become aware of your blocks and resistance. It’s learning about your Self – where you’re at now, and then how to improve. It’s learning to calm the emotions and the mind with basic meditations.

Regular mindfulness meditation is the second fundamental practice for optimal health and wellness as it helps keep the mind sharp, clear and creative. Meditation also helps keep the body-mind calm and the parasympathetic nervous system activated, meaning the body is in restorative mode. When the body-mind is stressed, the sympathetic nervous system is activated which mobilises energy and resources to deal with the stressors. However when this happens for long periods of time it is draining on the body and eventually leads to illness.

The mindfulness that meditation confers helps us become conscious of our programming, patterns and blocks. Once we become aware of this, we can work on changing or transcending them.

The Spiritual (Energy healing and activations)

This is more the energy healing and energy activation side of things, along with teaching manifestation techniques and the nature of the quantum world. The energy healing helps shift things at an energetic level, along with replenishing low energy levels. It’s also a good maintenance practice to regularly get a healing – just like it’s good to get the occasional massage for the physical body. The energy activations are a way to fast track spiritual development and growth. They create rapid changes and healing by way of changing your very energetic nature. I recommend either Ashati or Reiki for the activations.

Energy work is the third fundamental practice for optimal health and wellness because the negative programming/patterns and emotions make up part our energetic field, and so we can also shift them at an energetic level.

Putting it all together

Now we have a three pronged approach to create deep and transformative change. As all aspects of the mind, body and spirit are inter-related and affect each other. So upgrading the physical body can also help with having more energy for the mind and spirit. Calming the mind can help heal the physical body and allow the spirit to flow more easily. And upgrading the spirit can help all aspects of the self because the body-mind is all comprised of energy.

What I cover

Depending on your experience, we start with basic meditation techniques, nutrition and physical exercises – practices that are the foundation for transformation. These underpin everything we do, and need to be lifelong regular practices, not only to maintain health, but also for optimal functioning.

Then we add more advanced meditations, breathing exercises and psychology. These help us to get deeper into the self – to uncover our blocks and resistance, and learn how to move past them. We also work on the energetic body – using energy healing and energy activations to transform from an energetic level.

Finally we get to the good stuff. How do we manifest what we want, how does science help explain spiritual truths, and the expansion of consciousness.
